CARY — The Town of Cary will close the eastbound direction of Walnut Street from Kildaire Farm Road to Walker Street on Tuesday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. as crews complete utility line work.

Westbound Walnut Street traffic will continue uninhibited.

Signs will mark a detour using Byrum Street to get around the closed area.

The closure is necessary as part of the Walnut Street Waterline Improvements project.
