The undefeated Millbrook girls and the state 3A champion Oxford Webb boys finished the 2013 high school basketball season on top of the Metro Raleigh Prep Rankings.
Millbrook made its third consecutive trip to the N.C. High School Athletic Association 4A finals and won its second consecutive championship with a 62-56 win against Greensboro Page.
En route to the championship, the Wildcats handed Southeast Raleigh its only loss of the year.
Chapel Hill, which finished third in The N&O rankings, lost to Charlotte Harding 56-52 in the 3A finals.
Webb, led by Isaiah Hicks 34 points and 30 rebounds, defeated Statesville 73-70 in the 3A championship.
Broughton, ranked No. 1 a week ago, lost to Charlotte Olympic 56-53 in the 4A finals and is No. 2 in the final rankings.
