Anne Neal Ellington, 80 of 3608 Serendipity Drive passed away peacefully at her home on March 18, 2013.

Anne was born on November 10, 1932 in Warren County to the late Roy Cleveland Neal and Savannah Gupton Neal. She graduated in 1951 from Warrenton High School. Anne married the love of her life, Buxton “Buck” Ellington on March 21, 1954.

A celebration of her life will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, March 22, 2013 in L. Harold Poole Funeral Chapel, 944 Old Knight Road, Knightdale, NC 27545.

The family will receive relatives and friends immediately following the service for a time of fellowship and reminiscing.

A private inurnment will take place at a later date.

Surviving husband, Buxton “Buck” Ellington; children, Karen Ellington (Warren) of Wake Forest; Sandra E. Bridgers (Richard) of Wendell, Cheryl E. Kelley (Don) of Lone Tree, CO., Beverly E. Townsend (Mike) of Concord; grandchildren, Curt (Tammy), Shane, Elizabeth (Tony), Stephanie, Jeremy, Jennifer, Megan and Justin; 5 great-grandchildren; and numerous other loving family members and friends.
