With the final shot, Boyle dipped his shoulder then skated to the right before stuffing the puck past a sprawled-out Devan Dubnyk for the win. Logan Couture had two goals while Tommy Wingels also scored for the Sharks, who had dropped six of seven coming in. Antti Niemi posted 24 saves in the win. Sam Gagner, Shawn Horcoff and Ryan Jones all lit the lamp for the Oilers, who had won three of four coming in. Dubnyk stopped 31 shots in the loss.
