Teachers not to blame

Our legislators have it all wrong by blaming the teachers for what they are saying is our broken and poor education system. I know two teachers, and they are doing the best job they know how to educate the kids who are assigned to their classes.

However, in many cases, it is the parents who are not backing them and are blaming the teachers for not educating their kids. Sen. Phil Berger's bill isn’t worthy of being considered until something is done to make parents accountable as well.
