Recap: Boston vs. Philadelphia

Shane Victorino stroked a three-run triple as part of a five-run seventh inning that lifted the Boston Red Sox to a 6-1 victory over the Philadelphia Phillies on Thursday in spring training action.

Dustin Pedroia added an RBI double in the rally, while Daniel Nava and Jose Iglesias each finished with an RBI and a run scored for the Red Sox, who saw starter John Lackey allow just one run on four hits over five frames.

Michael Young knocked in the lone Philadelphia run, while Freddy Galvis registered two of the Phillies' six hits. Starter Cole Hamels struck out five and gave up just one run on four hits in six innings.
