Recap: Baltimore vs. Pittsburgh

The Orioles only managed four hits and the Pirates went 0-for-14 with runners in scoring position, as Baltimore and Pittsburgh ended in a scoreless tie after 10 innings of play on Thursday.

Jonathan Sanchez struck out four in five innings of work in the start for Pittsburgh. Neil Walker and Travis Snider each had two hits, but the Pirates left 11 men on base for the contest.

Manny Machado went 2-for-3 for Baltimore, which saw starter Jake Arrieta strike out nine over six innings of work.
