Police search for robber of Raleigh Bojangles

— Police were looking for a tall, thin gunman who donned a mask to hold up a Bojangles restaurant on New Bern Avenue over the weekend.

Police said the man went into the Bojangles at 4621 New Bern Ave. at about 4:15 Saturday afternoon, robbed money and was last seen leaving on foot.

The robber was described as a black man, 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet tall with a slim build and a deep voice.

He wore a hooded sweatshirt and jeans.

Police asked that anyone who has information that might help detectives either call Raleigh CrimeStoppers at 919-834-HELP (4357) or to go to the CrimeStoppers website for instructions on how to report a tip online or by text message.
