On the left edge of country music, Emmylou Harris and Rodney Crowell represent the hip side of Nashville, where artistry and integrity blend together as naturally as a fiddle and a honky-tonk moon. Harris included Crowell’s “Bluebird Wine” on her debut album, “Pieces of the Sky,” and Crowell joined her Hot Band in 1975. Now, they’ve joined their talents for “Old Yellow Moon” a duet album and tour that brings them to Durham Performing Arts Center on Saturday and Charlotte’s Belk Theater on Monday. The concert also features renowned singer/songwriter Richard Thompson performing songs from his latest CD, “Electric.” www.dpacnc.com
