WAKE COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE

— Police on Tuesday filed multiple larceny charges against a woman who listed the same address as a man charged Monday with ripping up a police officer’s notes about his arrest.

Samantha Hope Kiegans, 24, of 2501Huntscroft Lane, Apt. 202, in Raleigh was arrested at Triangle Town Center, where the charges involved merchandise from several stores.

The apartment is the same address that Vincent Stephen Coyle, 26, gave police when they accused him of driving while impaired Monday night, then charged him with the felony of destroying evidence after, they said, he ripped up a police officer’s notes about the driving charge.

Kiegans faces five misdemeanor larceny counts involving merchandise and one felony larceny count that involves removing an anti-theft device from merchandise.

According to arrest warrants in which police named Kiegans, the thefts involved clothing and other products from Wet Seal, Victoria’s Secret, PacSun, Charlotte Russe, Spencer Gifts and Hollister.

Police listed the value of all the merchandise at $1,071.

Kiegans was freed on $15,000 bail.

Police said they had no information on any relationship between Kiegans and Coyle.
