Reward offered in Food Lion burglary

— Crime Stoppers is offering a reward for information leading to an arrest in the March 12 burglary and larceny at the Food Lion located off T.W. Alexander Drive.

When officers responded at 4:25 a.m. to a burglary in progress at the business, they found a door glass had been smashed in and review of security footage showed two large trash cans were used to steal more than 50 cartons of cigarettes.

The suspects wore gloves and covered their faces. One suspect was wearing blue jeans and a green jacket, while the second suspect was dressed in a dark jacket and dark pants with yellow shoes.
