Kyle Christopher Miller

Kyle Christopher Miller, 25, of Garner, NC, died suddenly on March 29, 2013. Born in Wake County, he was the son of Carol Elllingwood Miller of Garner and Ronald Charles Miller of Nova Scotia, Canada. Kyle was a 2006 graduate of Enloe High School and attended NCSU School of Engineering. He loved working on engines, working at places like Williams Electric Motor Repair and was most recently an auto mechanic at Don Lee's Tire & Service.

Kyle was a talented violin player and was a member of the school orchestras at Fuller Elementary, Carnage Middle, and Enloe High. He joined Cub Scout Pack 391 as a Tiger Scout, earned many awards and rank advancements, then joined Boy Scout Troop 50, where he proudly earned the rank of Eagle Scout in 2005.

Kyle also played baseball and basketball through local sports organizations, was an avid skateboarder, and bowled on leagues at Buffaloe Lanes in Garner for most of his youth years.

Besides his parents, Kyle is survived by his sister, Abigail Miller, and niece, Jayde Emanuel, both of the home; grandmother, Norma Ellingwood, Kingman, AZ; sister, Serena Miller, Asheboro, NC; brother, Travis Miller, Ithaca, NY; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. Special recognition goes to the family of Roberta and the late Lou Thomas, who always embraced him as a part of their family.

A memorial gathering will take place at Lake Benson Park, Shelter #1, on Sunday April 7, 2013, starting at 2:00pm.
