Jim Hammerle: U.S. flag not displayed appropriately

April 9, 2013

U.S. flag displayed wrong

In the initial coverage of the Confederate flag hung in the N.C. State Capitol, the accompanying photo showed the American flag improperly displayed.

U.S. flag etiquette requires the flag to be hung to the left of other flags with the blue field of stars in the upper left. Just ask any Boy Scout.
