Scout adds to playground

Kevin Meyer of Cary has earned the rank of Eagle Scout, the highest achievement in Boy Scouting.

For his project, Kevin led a group of scouts and adults in the design and construction of two large wooden storage boxes for sandbox toys on the kindergarten playground at Salem Elementary School in Apex.

Kevin, the son of Chris and Kristin Meyer, is a member of Troop 216 in Cary and a sophomore at Apex High School.
