Utility damage closes Lynn, Lead Mine intersection in Raleigh

— Police have closed the intersection of Lynn and Lead Mine roads after utility lines and poles were damaged when a large tree fell Saturday evening.

Repair work is expected to take several hours Sunday and the intersection will not reopen until this afternoon, police said.

Detours have been established, however, police recommend that drivers avoid the area.
