Jim Davenport: U.S. resolve

April 17, 2013

U.S. resolve

We are all Bostonians! We all felt the shock of a tragic ending to the normally celebrated tradition of the Boston Marathon. However, we’re not defeated.

All came together with a resolve, a solidarity and a spirit that would have impressed even the Founding Fathers. First responders and strangers quickly helped one another, forging lifelong bonds and memories.

Our enemies, both foreign and domestic, can attack us but not defeat us. We must be vigilant and more aware that we are in a constant state of war with persons who only want to kill us because we are Americans!

Keep the families and victims and the USA in prayer.
