Harry Leroy Hight

Harry L. Hight, beloved Dad, Grandpa and Great Grandpa passed away April 5, 2013. After serving in the US Army during WWII, Mr. Hight had a successful career with J.C. Penney Co. After retirement he spent his time between Minnesota and Arizona until moving to Raleigh in 2003. He was preceded in death by his parents Algy Roy and Bessie V. Hight, brother, Hugh Hight, sister Betheen Thompson, and his beloved wife, June Wehrle Hight, as well as his stepsons, Bruce W. Wehrle and Daniel J. Wehrle. He is survived by his son Harry L. Hight, Jr. (Kathi), and grandchildren Harry L. Hight III, Jacki Hight, Barbra Wehrle, Karen (John) Tysinger and Laura (Jason) Oates, as well as eight great grandchildren, Madison and Mia Noel, Andrew, Timothy and Naomi Tysinger, and Luke, Rachel and James Oates. Memorial service will be held at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 7000 Creedmoor Road, Raleigh, at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, April 20, 2013. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Springmoor Retirement Center. He is interred at Fort Snelling National Cemetery in St. Paul, MN.
