Sally Wooten: When it hits home

When it hits home

Funny how once something affects you personally, you can change your stance on an issue about which you have been so adamant.

For instance, Republican Sen. Rob Portman has recently come out in support of marriage equality because his son is gay.

Wonder whether those senators who voted against stricter background checks for guns would have voted the same way had their child or grandchild been a student at Sandy Hook? I bet not!
