Gas leak in Raleigh home prompts evacuations

RALEIGH Fire trucks are responding to a gas leak at a home in Raleigh on Saturday afternoon, and evacuating neighbors in the neighborhood south of North Hills inside the Beltline.

The leak, reported about 1:50 p.m., was on Rock Creek Drive, near Dell Drive, off of Six Forks Road.

There were no immediate reports of injuries, but an EMS unit is on the way there.
