2 victims and a suspect stabbed in a North Raleigh home

From staff reportsApril 22, 2013

— Three people were taken to WakeMed Raleigh Monday evening after suffering serious stab wounds during an altercation that took place in a North Raleigh residence.

Raleigh Police Department spokesman Jim Sughrue said officers were called to the 6600 block of Tealbriar Drive, near North Ridge Park shortly before 5:30 p.m. That call led them to 1705 Tealwood Place where they found two men and a woman suffering from serious stab wounds.

Based upon initial investigative findings, two of those transported – a 29-year-old female and a 27-year-old male – are believed to be victims. The third – a 31-year-old male – is considered to be a suspect in the case.

The crime is not believed to be a random act, Sughrue said, and additional suspects were not being sought Monday night.
