Bonnie R. Rosser

Bonnie Lee Roberts Rosser, 86, passed away Monday at Nash General Hospital in Rocky Mount. She was the daughter of Phelps and Lottie Roberts of Shelby County, Kentucky, and was preceded in death by her beloved brothers James William Roberts and Charles Edward Roberts.

She is survived by her husband of 58 years, H. Judson Rosser of Rocky Mount; son, Robert Judson Rosser and his wife, Karen of Raleigh; grandchildren, John Madison Rosser, Carson Andrew Rosser and Daniel Locke Rosser.

Mrs. Rosser was a devoted mother and homemaker and enjoyed working in her church, singing in the choir, and working with needy children. She enjoyed painting portraits and cooking for her family.

Funeral service will be held at First Baptist Church, Rocky Mount on Thursday, April 25, at 2:00 p.m., led by Rev. William V. Grisham, followed by a burial service at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends at Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home Wednesday night, April 24, from 7:00–8:30 p.m. and at the home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church Family Ministry Center, 200 S. Church St, Rocky Mount, NC 27804.
