Two in Raleigh charged with meth trafficking

— Two men face drug-trafficking charges involving what police said was approximately 47 grams – about 1.7 ounces – of methamphetamine.

Kevin John Campbell, 32 of 4904 Six Forks Road was arrested Tuesday evening near a Six Forks Road office building, a police report says.

Douglas Russell Bellue, 38, of 3920 Westra Drive in Raleigh was arrested at his home at about 2 a.m. Thursday, a report shows.

Bellue was charged with two trafficking counts, one saying he has the drug and the other saying he delivered it to Campbell.

Campbell was charged two trafficking counts, one that says he had the drug and the other saying he transported it.

Each man is charged with conspiring with the other to sell the methamphetamine to a “person unknown.”

Bellue was being held Thursday on $450,000 for a court appearance.

Campbell was being held on $451,000 bail pending his appearance Thursday.
