Thomas Oriel: ALEC-ruled state

ALEC-ruled state

The legislature wants to eliminate the cap of 24 students per class of K-3 (“Bill would eliminate class-size limits,” April 17). These clowns should be made to participate in the larger classes for one month to fill in for the assistants Gov. Pat McCrory wants to eliminate.

The proposed voucher system will take monies from public education and support the American Legislative Exchange Commission system for private education.

Did the people of North Carolina elect our legislators or the Koch brothers?
