From staff reportsApril 29, 2013

Best-selling business books for March from 800-CEO-READ, based on purchases by its corporate customers.

•  Quiet: The Power of Introverts in a World That Can’t Stop Talking, Susan Cain, Broadway, 368 pages. The book shows how dramatically we undervalue introverts and how much we lose in doing so. Cain questions the dominant values of American business culture, where forced collaboration can stand in the way of innovation and where the leadership potential of introverts is often overlooked.

•  Lean In: Women, Work and the Will to Lead, Sheryl Sandberg, Knopf, 240 pages. The Facebook COO, ranked eighth on Fortune’s list of the 50 Most Powerful Women in Business, urges women to take risks and seek new challenges, to find work that they love, and to remain passionately engaged.
