Statistically speaking: Small business owners oppose territorial tax system

According to an April Small Business Owners’ Views on Corporate Tax Reform survey, 85 percent of small business owners oppose a territorial tax system. Here are some other results from the American Sustainable Business Council and Main Street Alliance poll:

64% of small business owners support ending deferral, a provision of the current tax code that allows corporations to indefinitely delay paying U.S. taxes on foreign earnings.

34% of owners said that closing tax loopholes for large corporations is more important for the federal government to address than government spending cuts.
