Raleigh police charge man had hundreds of doses of ecstasy

WAKE COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE

— Police arrested a man at his apartment Monday on charges that he had between 500 and 1,000 doses of the drug ecstasy.

Chuh A, 27, of 3500 Palm Court is charged with two counts of trafficking in MDMA, the name derived from the drugs chemical formula.

In an arrest warrant, police charged that A had 767 doses of the drug.

One trafficking count involved possessing the drug and the other involved transporting it.

Police said in the warrants that A had the ecstasy on Feb. 6.

They did not say when they chose to arrest him Monday.

A was being held on $350,000 bail pending a Tuesday court appearance.
