Stylin’: Another week, another round of trunk shows

This week brings another great lineup of trunk shows to the Triangle. Here’s a sampling:

• Bailey’s Fine Jewelry in Cameron Village will have new rings, necklaces, earrings and more for spring and summer from jewelry designer Ippolita on Thursday. Bailey’s is at 415 Daniels St., Raleigh, 919-829-7337,

• Sporty handbags from Baggallini will be at The Globetrotter in Cameron Village Saturday. Designed by two former flight attendants, the bags come equipped with multiple pockets to help women stay organized, especially while traveling. • Vermillion boutique welcomes sisters design team Shawn Hecox and Samantha Hitchcock of The Woods Fine Jewelry to the store for a trunk show May 8-9. The sisters’ eclectic collection features everything from sparkly chandelier earrings to necklaces and bracelets adorned with Day of the Dead sugar skull and bejeweled insect charms. Get campy

Shop for a good cause 6-9 p.m. Thursday during Dress designer resale boutique’s Shop and Sip party. A portion of sales during the event will benefit Scott-Free Scholarship Foundation, which offers at-risk children the opportunity to attend summer camp. A silent auction will feature prizes from local stores and services, and there will be giveaways, food and drinks. Admission is free. Dress is at 3528 Wade Ave., Raleigh, 919-699-6505,

Think pink

Belk Crabtree will host a bra fitting and breast cancer awareness event Friday. From 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., a Wacoal representative will offer free bra fittings. During the event, customers making a Wacoal or b.tempt’d purchase of $80 or more will receive a free tote bag. For every woman who receives a fitting, Wacoal and Belk will each donate $2 to the Susan G. Komen Foundation for breast cancer research, and for every Wacoal/b.tempt’d purchase, Wacoal and Belk will donate an additional $2 each to Komen. From 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., the Rex Health mobile mammography unit will be at Belk for free breast cancer screenings.
