Four shot at sports bar; Smithfield woman charged

— Police arrested a woman after four people were injured in an early morning shooting Saturday at the N&N Sports Bar and Grill.

Krystal Olymica David, 29, of Smithfield was arguing with another woman over a man around 1:30 a.m. Saturday at the bar at 150 S. Equity Drive, police reported. According to reports, she left the bar and got a gun from her car before returning to the bar and opening fire, hitting four people.

All four were treated at an area hospital for serious but non-life-threatening injuries, police reported.

David was charged with four counts of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury, police reported. She was being held in the Johnston County Jail under a $500,000 secured bail pending her first appearance at 9 a.m. Monday in Smithfield District Court.
