ST. TIMOTHY'S SCHOOL

Caroline Konrad and Grace Patton of Raleigh, both sixth-graders at St. Timothy School, were recognized at the regional awards ceremony for the Young Authors writing competition.

The topic for this year’s Young Authors competition, which is sponsored by the International Reading Association, was “Play That Game.” Students were asked to write about games that have been part of their lives.

Grace’s essay was one of 12 entries from Wake County to also be selected as a state winner. State winners were recognized at a ceremony at the Raleigh Convention Center.
