Missed opportunity

If the U.S. Senate had voted 100-0 for the gun sale background check then the vast majority of the U.S. citizens would have approved, our people would be safer, the Senate would have received credit for bipartisanship, the NRA A-rated senators would all have had cover, politicians would have shown they can stand up to a lobbyist and they would have set an example for Congress to follow. It is not yet too late.
