Elliot Galdy: Benghazi distraction

Benghazi distraction

Jobs, or lack thereof. Unsustainable national debt. A tax code in need of complete overhaul. Climate change and global warming. Crumbling infrastructure. Syria’s civil war. The proliferation of guns into the hands of criminals and the mentally unstable. The growing divide between the haves and have-nots, and the list goes on and on. And on what do our current Republican congressional leaders spend their time and our money? A witch hunt on the Benghazi attack to deflect the public’s attention away from their unwillingness and inability to do the people’s business. And if they can cast blame on President Obama and Hillary Rodham Clinton at the same time, all the better.

If it weren’t so tragic, it would be worthy of farce.
