— A man from Pennsylvania was being held in lieu of $100,000 bail Monday on a charge that he tried to get 26 pieces of clothing out of a Crabtree Valley Mall store by stuffing them in an aluminum-lined to defeat theft-prevention tags.

Mall police arrested Andre Garland Araus, 39, of 1929 S. 65th St. in Philadelphia, Pa., on Saturday evening.

They said he had concealed the items while he was in the H+M clothing store.

State law makes it a felony to use an aluminum-lined or lead-lined bag to hide items in a store.
