Celebrate for service

Today is more than a day off for family and friends, for the cookout and for the beach. It is a day of reflection a day of thanks and remembrance. To reflect on all those who fought for our nation and returned and those who gave the ultimate sacrifice and did not. This is a day to thank every man and woman who ever put on the uniform of the United States and served bravely against tyranny and for freedom.

Today we remember all of our wars past and present and every American on every battlefield who spilled their blood for you and me – for they made it possible for all of us to be together today with family and friends, to have that cookout and to enjoy the fun and beauty of our beaches.

From a grateful nation all of America salutes and thanks all who bravely served to guarantee that every generation would live in freedom.
