The 1990 Broadway musical, “Once On This Island,” begins a three-week run at Raleigh Little Theatre tonight. Through its calypso-pop score, the show tells the story of a poor Caribbean island girl who saves and then falls in love with a handsome upper class man, angering the island gods.
