Raleigh-based Justice Theater Project stages the sweeping saga, “Ragtime,” beginning tonight in Clare Hall on the campus of The Catholic Community of St. Francis of Assisi (11401 Leesville Road). The 1998 Broadway musical, set at the turn of the 20th century, explores racism, politics and immigration issues of the period through clever use of catchy ragtime tunes. 8 p.m. Friday-Saturday; 2 p.m. Sunday (through June 30). $12-$20. 919-264-7089; thejustictheatereproject.org.
