Savannah Wagner Belk of Charlotte was crowned Miss Raleigh Outstanding Teen. She’ll compete later this month in the Miss North Carolina’s Outstanding Teen pageant.

Savannah is a high school junior who was a winner in the Miss Raleigh pageant’s “sweeps” portion, open to pageant qualifiers from around the state. She chose “Helping to Erase the Impact of Homelessness on Children and their Education” as her platform and has raised money for A Child’s Place, a Charlotte nonprofit that assists local homeless children.

Savannah is the daughter of B.V. Belk Jr. and Karen Wagner.
