Statistically speaking: Small businesses and the health care law

Nearly half of U.S. small businesses think the federal health care law is bad for their business, according to a recent survey of 603 small-business owners conducted by Gallup and released in May.

9% say the Affordable Care Act will be good for their business.

39% of small businesses expect no impact.

55% expect the money they pay for health care to increase.

41% have held off on hiring new employees.
