Police report fatal shooting in east Durham

— Police are investigating the shooting death of a 37-year-old man found Tuesday in the 100 block of North Hyde Park in east Durham.

Officers arrived at the scene at 11:40 a.m. and found Jermaine Andrea McDonald fatally wounded, according to police spokeswoman Kammie Michael.

No arrests have been reported by police.

Investigators have not disclosed a motive, but they do not think the shooting was a random act, Michael reported.
