Two charged in cocaine-trafficking arrests by Raleigh police

— Drug investigators arrested two men Tuesday evening and early Wednesday on multiple cocaine-trafficking charges as well as conspiracy.

Detectives charged Emanuel Garcia-Moreno, 36, of 3000 Stony Brook Drive after questioning at police headquarters.

About 1 a.m. Wednesday, they arrested Mario Enrique Rivera-Padilla, 34, whose address they listed on a report as 416 Cardenal Drive in Clayton, at the White oak crossing shopping center in Garner, off U.S. 70 East.

Garcia-Moreno was being held in lieu of $750,000 bail for a court appearance on two counts of trafficking in cocaine and one count of conspiracy to deliver cocaine.

Rivera-Padilla was being held in lieu of $800,000 bail on five counts of trafficking in cocaine, one count of conspiracy to deliver cocaine and one count of maintaining a vehicle to keep or sell drugs.
