Woman jogger grabbed on Duke trail in Durham

— A woman jogger was grabbed and pulled from behind on the Duke trail near Cornwallis Road at about 7 a.m. Wednesday.

The jogger pulled away and sustained only minor injuries, according to a Duke University news release.

The suspect was described as a light-skinned male in his late 20s or early 30s. He is about 5 feet 6 inches tall and of medium build. He was wearing black pants, a black tank-top, white shoes and a red baseball cap.

Duke and Durham police departments are investigating the incident.
