Lue Rea Burchette

Surrounded by family and friends, Lue Rea Burchette, 83, passed away Tuesday June 25, 2013. She was born July 25, 1929, in Granville County, daughter of the late Macy Edward Evans and Allie Oakley Evans. She retired from Nationwide Insurance Company.

Lue Rea was a devoted servant of Jehovah and faithfully served him for over 50 years. Sharing her faith was one of the most important parts of her life.

Lue Rea was preceded in death by a sister, Elma Watson, and two brothers Macy Edward Evans and Wallace Dorcy "Teatum" Evans. Left to cherish her memory are her son, Robert Nelson Burchette and wife Jeanette Of Nashville, NC. Daughters Tammy Lue and Husband Terrance J. DeRousse of Wake Forest, NC and Theresa Rea Burchette of Butner, NC. Four Grandchildren, Alan Burchette and wife Alyona, Wade Burchette, Steven Burchette, and Michael Anderson. Two great-grandchildren Kaylin and Kamila. Siblings Virginia Evans, Ruby Farmer, Alilie Jean Ide, and James Earl Evans.

A memorial service will be held 3 p.m. Saturday June 29 2013 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness on 1169 Water Plant Rd. in Zebulon, NC. The family will receive relatives and friends At 10 Cypress St. from 4-6:30 p.m.
