North Carolina womens soccer team finalized its 13-member recruiting class, which begins late next month with games against Santa Clara and VCU.
The newcomers include 12 freshmen and a transfer from the University Georgia..
Among the class are Raleigh residents Joanna Boyles and Cameron Castleberry and Green Hopes Maya Worth.

• Duke womens basketball released its 2013 non-conference schedule. Entering her seventh season with the Blue Devils, coach Joanne P. McCallie has guided Duke to four straight ACC regular season titles, three ACC Championships and four consecutive NCAA Elite Eight appearances, while posting a 174-35 record.
Without a doubt this is the most difficult schedule that we have faced in the six years I have been at Duke relative to the start, middle and finish, Joanne P. McCallie said in a release.
It includes eight 2013 NCAA Tournament teams Connecticut, California, Vanderbilt, Purdue, Oklahoma, Kentucky, Central Michigan and Kansas and two NCAA Final Four participants, California and defending NCAA Champion Connecticut.
The home schedule is highlighted by seven games against Connecticut, Vanderbilt, Purdue, Alabama, USC Upstate, Albany and Old Dominion.
Duke opens the season against California on Sunday, Nov. 10.
