RailHawks fall to San Antonio

— The Carolina RailHawks failed to win the NASL Spring Season Championship, losing Thursday night 2-0 to the San Antonio Scorpions.

The championship went to the Atlanta Silverbacks as they defeated Minnesota United FC 3-0.

Hans Denissen scored both goals for the Scorpions. The goals came in the 44th and 86th minutes of the game.

The RailHawks didn’t score despite 22 shots on goal, including 15 during the second half.

Volcano postpones RailHawks on Saturday

Saturday’s match against Puebla FC of the Mexican First Division in Cary has been postponed because of a volcano eruption in Mexico. The match will be rescheduled in the near future.
