Alice Ruth Quesenberry

July 7, 2013

On July 5, 2013 Alice Ruth Quesenberry of Durham NC, left this world to be reunited with her parents, husband and oldest son and is now fellowshipping with Jesus Christ.

Alice was very much loved by her family and many friends. She was a devoted mother and grandmother, the best sister one could have, a dedicated nurse, a loyal friend and encouraging to all. Alice’s strength throughout her life, and especially during her journey with cancer was a real inspiration to everyone who knew and met her.

Alice is survived by her son Ryan, granddaughters Destiny and McKayla Quesenberry, her twin sisters, Linda Dixon (husband Elmer) and Brenda Blackwood (husband David) and her daughter-in-law Morgan Quesenberry. Her nieces and nephews loved her deeply.

She was predeceased by her husband Fred, son Chip, as well as her parents Bud and Billie Leathers.

A memorial service celebrating Alice’s life and arrival in heaven will be held Monday July 8th at 10 am at Ebenezer Baptist Church, 1210 Pleasant Green Road, Hillsborough NC 27278. The family will be available to meet with friends and loved ones after the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be directed to either Hospice of Wake County, 250 Hospice Circle, Raleigh NC 27607 or Samaritans Purse, PO Box 3000, Boone NC 28607.
