Fred R. Wilson

Fred Richard (Dick) Wilson of 4913 Kundinger Court, Raleigh, NC passed away July 5, 2013. Wilson, a graduate of Branson (MO) High School and Missouri Valley College, was a member of Sigma Nu fraternity, a U.S. Army veteran and recipient of the Kiwanis Distinguished President's Award. He was a longstanding member of First Presbyterian Church in Raleigh, serving as a deacon and active in its choir. Retiring in 1991 from a career in Human Resources with Ford Motor Company and Becton-Dickinson, he devoted his talents to various choral pursuits that included the Master Chorale and Cary Singers.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Patricia A. Wilson (Thomson) of Raleigh, and children Jennifer Wiley of Apex, Christine Crumpler of Winchester, VA, Richard Wilson of Camp Hill, PA and seven grandchildren.

Services will be held on Tuesday, July 9 at 1:00 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church, 112 South Salisbury Street. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to either Hospice of Wake County or the First Presbyterian Church Friendship Fund.
