Raleigh Girl Scout makes learning kits for library

Ashleigh Miles of Raleigh has earned the Gold Award, the highest achievement in Girl Scouting.

For her Gold project, Ashleigh created three “grab-and-go” kits for the Leesville Road Library in North Raleigh. The kits include a book list with corresponding activities to engage children for 45 minutes learning about the environment, Egypt or codes.

Ashleigh is a senior at Leesville Road High School in Raleigh and a member of Troop 1574, led by Emily McMillan.
