Apex Girl Scout makes upgrades to church nursery

July 14, 2013

Jordan Sink of Apex has earned the Gold Award, the highest achievement in Girl Scouting.

For her Gold project, Jordan designed and built cubbies to store diaper bags and other baby items in the nursery at Peak United Methodist Church in Apex. She invited help from some of the children at the church to color pictures to line the insides of the cubbies.

Jordan attends Apex High School and is a member of Troop 12, led by Pamela Sutherland.
