Statistically speaking: Millennial small-business owners are optimistic about their company’s future

According to the Spring 2013 Bank of America Small Business Owner Report, millennial small-business owners, who are in the 18-34 age range, are the most optimistic about what the future holds for their business. Older business owners are more cautious, according to the report.

70% of millennial owners say they manage stress well.

55% of owners age 51-64 feel the same way.

52% of the younger owners expect an increase in hiring.

24% of older owners hold the same expectations about hiring.
