Woman robbed of phone on American Tobacco Trail

— A woman rollerblading on the American Tobacco Trail around 7:15 p.m. Tuesday was robbed by man armed with a gun, according to police.

The suspect was described as a black male in his 30s, 5 feet, 4 inches to 5 feet, 7 inches tall and weighing approximately 130 pounds. He was wearing a black T-shirt, red Adidas sneakers and a black doo-rag.

He took the woman’s cell phone and was last seen running on the American Tobacco Trail toward Otis Street, according to police spokeswoman Kammie Michael.
