What better for late summer doldrums than a show that takes place at the beach? Charles Busch’s “Psycho Beach Party,” opening Friday at Raleigh’s Theatre in the Park, might sound like innocent fun, with its zany mash-up of 1960’s surfing movies and Hitchcock-like suspense thrillers -- but leave the kiddies home for this naughty, campy spoof. 7:30 pm Friday and Saturday; 3 p.m. Sunday (through August 4). $16-$22. 919-831-6058 or theatreinthepark.com.
